Calling to mind the handcrafting techniques of ancient Japan, Shun Premier offers the grace and beauty of hand-forged knives of old. Every blade is made of VG10 steel, clad with 32 layers of stainless Damascus, then beveled for lateral stability and incredible precision. Where the two steels meet, a wavy line called a hamon is formed similar to the line formed when samurai swords are tempered using a traditional clay-baking technique. The striking hammered finish (tsuchime in Japanese) acts similar to a series of hollow-ground cavities, reducing drag and quickly releasing food from the blade. The walnut PakkaWood® handles nestle comfortably in the hand, and the Shun logo embossed on the bottom end cap adds balance and beauty to the knife, whether in use in the hand or at rest in the block.
Whether your bread is delicately tender or wonderfully crusty, the Shun Premier Bread knife, with its wide, low-frequency serrations, will do a much better job of slicing any type of bread than a straight-edged knife. Gently saw back and forth to cut off the perfect slice of bread with nary an unsightly rip or tear and a lot fewer crumbs.

Returns
We are not able to manage the stock in our factory and warehouse. Actual stock levels may fluctuate at any moment. Be aware that it's possible for your order to become unavailable even after you've placed your order.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. We cannot exchange or refund your order after 30 days from the date of purchase.
The item should not be used and in its original condition. The item must be in its original packaging.
